Given that Vermeer's Girl With The Pearl Earring is one of my favorites paintings in art history, Dorothee Golz's digital painting captured my eyes at Art Basel Miami. I love to see modern artists incorporating elements of classical works in their works. I believe it is a shame that artists after the 1950s buried most reminders of tradition in art.
